Connecting your Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook Calendar
Follow these steps to connect your Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook Calendar and customize your sync settings with Voxiplan.
Step 1: Access the Calendar Sync Page
To connect your calendar, navigate to the Manage Calendars page:
- Locate your account icon at the top right of the screen and click on your profile name.
- In the dropdown, select Manage Calendars.
This will open the Manage Calendars page where you can connect your Office 365 or Outlook Calendar.
Step 2: Select Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook Calendar
On the Manage Calendars page, follow these steps:
- Click on the blue New Calendar button on the right side of the page.
- Choose Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook Calendar from the list of options.
- Click Connect next to your selected calendar to initiate the connection.
You will be prompted to sign in to your Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook account if you're not already signed in. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 3: Authorize Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook Access
After selecting Office 365 or Outlook, you will see a screen asking for permissions to access your calendar. Voxiplan will request the following permissions:
- Create calendar events
- Delete events created by this app
- Read events in your calendars
Once you review and agree to these permissions, click Link Office 365 account or Link Outlook account.
You’ll then be directed to the Microsoft authorization page, where you’ll need to input your email and password. After you log in, you will be asked to approve the required access scopes that Cronofy will utilize to sync your calendar.
Step 4: Customize Your Calendar Settings
Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to Voxiplan's Manage Calendars page where you can configure the following options:
Check for conflicts: Select which calendars you want Voxiplan to scan for scheduling conflicts. This is important if you use multiple Microsoft calendars or sync multiple accounts.
Add to calendar: Choose which calendar will store new appointments made via Voxiplan. You can also enable Sync cancellations, which ensures that events canceled on either Voxiplan or your Office 365/Outlook Calendar are updated across both systems.
Disconnecting Your Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook Calendar
If you no longer want Voxiplan to sync with your Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook Calendar:
- Navigate to the Manage Calendars page.
- Find the calendar you want to disconnect and click Disconnect.
This will stop all sync operations, including event creation and cancellation syncing.
