In this article, we’ll guide you through configuring the general scheduling conditions for your workspace. These settings apply across all channels, ensuring that your appointment scheduling process is streamlined and consistent.

Access General Settings

To adjust the general scheduling conditions for your workspace, follow these steps:

  • Go to your workspace.
  • Click on the three dots in the top right corner to open the menu.
  • Select General Settings from the dropdown list.

This will open the page where you can configure the shared scheduling conditions for your Assistant and booking widget.

Adjust Scheduling Conditions

You will find the Scheduling Conditions section, which allows you to configure essential settings to control when and how clients can book appointments. Here are the options available:

Prevent bookings less than [X] days in advance

This option ensures that users cannot book appointments too close to the current date. You can set the minimum number of days in advance that clients must book. For example, if set to "7 days," clients won’t be able to schedule an appointment that falls within the next 7 days. Adjust this to fit your scheduling needs.

Allow cancellations or changes up to [X] days in advance

This setting allows you to define how far in advance clients can cancel or modify their appointments. For example, setting it to "1 day" means clients can make changes or cancellations until one day before the appointment date. This helps manage last-minute cancellations while offering flexibility for clients.

Limit the maximum active bookings per invitee

Here, you can set the maximum number of active future bookings a client can have at any given time. For example, setting this to "2" means each client can have up to 2 active appointments scheduled simultaneously. Leave this field blank for no limit. Limiting active bookings ensures that you don’t get overbooked by the same client.
